Career Discovery is designed to expose high school students to a wide range of professions, to provide positive and accomplished role models of similar backgrounds, and to inform the students about opportunities, which  enables them to achieve their collegiate and professional goals.

Join us one more time this year, as we kick off the holiday season with our very popular and specially curated ‘Suya and Wine Social’. Let’s mix and mingle, soak up some culture as we enjoy unique African inspired designs, learn some history and tip our glasses to 2016!!

This time we are collaborating with a local designer, Houston’s up and coming ‘Tribe of Dumo’ as they showcase their new fashion collection – The Jigsaw Collection for Spring/Summer 2017.  The event will be held at The Shrine of the Black Madonna, a purveyor for African Heritage and Black History, which houses the African Holocaust Museum to be open to guests at the event.

Free for NAMC members,$5 pre-registration, $10 walk-ins.
