College Admissions is part of NAMC’s Expanding Horizons series of programs for high school students. College Admissions expands students’ knowledge and helps them find out how to achieve their college admissions and financial aid goals.
The Nigerian-American Multicultural Council will hold its first Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, November 14th, 2016 at The Woodlands Resort Panther Trail Golf Course. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:00 am, with a shotgun start at 12:00 pm. The tournament will be a “Scramble” with handicap adjustment. An Awards Dinner will immediately follow the tournament.

Donate Towards the Future NAMC House NAMC’s $3 Million capital campaign, which will fund a Nigerian-American Multicultural Center (NAMC House). NAMC House, the first Sub-Saharan African cultural center in Houston, will be a civic center for the Nigerian-American community and a learning center for the Houston community to understand Nigeria’s rich and diverse culture.

Yemi is a chartered accountant (FCCA) and a project controller of multibillion dollar oil and gas development projects at ExxonMobil.
Kope is a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Adetola Abatan is a Sr Production Engineer at Shell Oil Co and has been in the energy industry for 9+ years. She has a PhD in Chemical Engineering.
Nkechi Odumodu is a Petroleum Geologist who has worked with shale producers in the Houston area for over 10 years, with her most recent role as a Development Geologist.
Rita Nwajei is a recent BSN, RN graduate from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She works as an Intensive Care/ Critical Care Nurse at UTMB located in Galveston, Texas.
Leon Binitie-Cassidy is currently a Facilities Engineer for G2 Partners LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities as well as a Masters in Project Management.
Temidayo Kola-Kehinde is a Reservoir Engineer with a Bachelors and Masters in Petroleum Engineering and a Minor in Bioengineering and Life Sciences from the Colorado School of Mines.
Caroline Oyedeji is currently a Business owner in financial services in Houston, Texas. She received a B.Sc. degree in Biology/Chemical – Bethune Cookman College, Daytona Beach Florida; MS in Pharmacology/Toxicology – Florida A&M University, Tallahassee Florida; MBA/HCM – University of Phoenix Houston Texas Branch.
Edidiong Mendie is a legal practitioner, called to the Nigerian Bar. She obtained her LL.B from the University of Benin, Nigeria and has a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Law from University of Houston Law Center.
Excel Ogugbue is a Petroleum Engineering Specialist at BP America Inc where he has worked for nearly 6 years. Excel holds a B.Eng. (First Class) degree from Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria, an MS degree from University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a PhD degree from the University of Oklahoma, all in Petroleum Engineering.
